G-Solar & Electrical is proud to announce a new community-focused initiative that will see $100 donated to COUCH Cancer Hub NQ for every customer who chooses to display a G-Solar sign at the front of their home.
The initiative is designed to give customers a simple way to support a vital local organisation while installing or upgrading their home’s solar energy system.
Each participating household will display a sign featuring the message “Proudly supporting COUCH”, showing community care and connection as well as raising awareness.
COUCH is a local organisation dedicated to supporting people impacted by cancer, offering practical assistance, emotional support and a sense of community during some of life’s most challenging moments.
G-Solar owner Grant Newman said the initiative was about using everyday business activity to create meaningful impact.
“We’ve always believed that being a local business means showing up for the community that supports us,” Mr Newman said.
“Our customers are helping us donate directly to COUCH and support the incredible work they do for individuals and families facing cancer.”
“It’s a small action that can make a real difference.”
COUCH Executive Officer Emily Rossi said the organisation is “incredibly grateful” for the support.
“COUCH Cancer Hub NQ is incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of G-Solar & Electrical,” Ms Rossi said.
According to Ms Rossi, G-Solar was one of the first local businesses to step up and become a Champion of COUCH in 2024, and their commitment has continued ever since.
“Support such as this enables COUCH to grow and strengthen our support services for people impacted by cancer across our region,” she said.
“Through their current $100 donation initiative for every customer sign displayed after having solar panels installed, G-Solar & Electrical are transforming everyday business into meaningful community impact.”
